Privacy Policy
How your personal information is collected, used and stored
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This policy explains how Peaceful Presence OÜ handles personal information in connection with Presence of Truth, enquiries, bookings, private sessions, training waiting lists and email subscriptions.
Who is responsible for your information?
The data controller is:
Peaceful Presence OÜ
Registration number: 16890533
Heina tn 5/1-7
10611 Tallinn, Estonia
Email: satdarshan@yogalafontaine.com
In this policy, “we” refers to Peaceful Presence OÜ, through which Sat Darshan offers her services.
What information do we collect?
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Your name, email address and information you provide when contacting us or joining a mailing list.
Booking details, correspondence and information needed to organise sessions, events or training.
Billing details and transaction information associated with purchases.
Limited health information and session notes relevant to private sessions.
Technical information processed through our website and service providers, such as your IP address, browser information and the pages you visit on this website.
Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry, booking or work with us.
Why do we use your information?
We use personal information to:
Respond to enquiries and communicate with you.
Arrange and deliver sessions, events and training.
Process payments and maintain accounting records.
Send the training updates or newsletters you have requested.
Support continuity in private sessions.
Operate and maintain the website and protect our services.
The legal basis depends on the purpose. We rely on:
Consent for requested newsletters, training updates and non-essential analytics cookies.
Contractual necessity to arrange and deliver services you request, including relevant enquiries before booking.
Legal obligations for accounting, tax and other required records.
Legitimate interests in responding to general enquiries, maintaining website security and handling legal claims, while considering your rights and reasonable expectations.
Health information is subject to the additional consent requirements described below.
Training waiting lists and newsletters
When you join a training waiting list, we use your details to send updates and application invitations for the training you registered your interest in.
Joining a waiting list does not automatically subscribe you to the Awakened Compassion newsletter. That newsletter requires a separate subscription.
Subscriber information is stored in Squarespace and, where needed for training administration, Google Drive through Google Workspace.
Training contacts may be transferred between the Squarespace accounts used for presenceoftruth.com and yogalafontaine.com so that we can send the updates you requested. This does not change the purpose of your subscription.
You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in an email or by contacting us.
Private sessions and health information
Private sessions may involve information about your mental health, personal experiences and emotional wellbeing. We keep minimal notes relevant to the work and continuity between sessions.
We rely on your consent to keep these notes, including explicit consent to process any health information they contain.
You may withdraw that consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. If information necessary for the work cannot be processed, we will discuss how this affects continuing sessions.
Session notes are normally stored as files on the practitioner’s computer and generally use first names rather than full names. They are treated as personal health information because they may still be identifiable.
Who receives your information?
We use the following providers where relevant:
Squarespace: website hosting, forms, subscriber storage, online purchases and email communications.
Google Workspace, including Google Drive: storage and administration of some subscriber and training records.
Koalendar: appointment scheduling and booking-related communications.
Stripe: payment processing.
These providers receive the information needed to perform their services. Some also process information for their own purposes, as explained in their privacy policies.
Stripe processes payment-card details; we do not store full card details ourselves.
We may also share relevant information with:
Our accountant: billing and transaction records needed for bookkeeping and tax obligations.
Legal advisers: information necessary to obtain legal advice or handle a legal dispute.
Public authorities: information we are legally required to provide.
We limit any disclosure to the information necessary for its purpose. This does not give general access to private session notes. Health information is shared only where there is a specific lawful basis and the additional protections required for health information are met.
We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some of our providers process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
Their published data-protection terms provide for international transfer protections, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. These are legal arrangements intended to protect personal information when it is transferred internationally.
For Google Workspace, we have accepted Google’s Cloud Data Processing Addendum, which addresses its processing of customer information and the protections applicable to international transfers.
You can read more in the providers’ relevant terms:
You may contact us for further information about the transfer arrangements relevant to your personal information and how to obtain a copy of applicable safeguards.
How long do we keep information?
We retain information only for as long as needed for its purpose or to meet applicable legal requirements.
Training waiting lists
Details are deleted within 12 months after applications close for the training you registered your interest in, unless you enrol or separately subscribe to another mailing list. If you enrol, information necessary for your participation becomes part of your training records. A separate newsletter subscription is retained according to your newsletter preferences.
Newsletters
Subscription details are retained until you unsubscribe or the mailing list is discontinued. Limited consent and unsubscribe records may be retained where necessary to demonstrate compliance and respect your preferences.
Session notes
Retention is assessed according to whether sessions are ongoing, whether there is an agreed or reasonably anticipated return to the work, and whether the notes remain necessary for continuity. Relevant legal obligations and the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims are also considered. The possibility that someone might return does not, by itself, justify keeping their notes indefinitely. Notes are deleted when there is no longer a necessary and lawful reason to retain them.
Enquiries and booking correspondence
These are retained while needed to respond, deliver the service and resolve related matters, then reviewed for deletion.
Training records
These are retained as needed to administer participation, document completion and resolve related matters, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Billing and accounting records
These are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax legislation.
Cookies and website information
This website is hosted by Squarespace, which processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website.
Essential cookies support functions such as checkout, security and remembering your cookie preferences. Non-essential analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website.
Our cookie banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Squarespace’s non-essential analytics cookies are restricted until you consent. Rejecting them does not prevent you from browsing the website.
The Squarespace Activity Log is switched off, so we do not use that feature to view individual visitor activity. This does not prevent Squarespace or other service providers from processing technical information necessary to operate and secure their services.
You can manage your preferences through the website’s cookie controls. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings; this may remove saved preferences and require you to choose again.
Further information about Squarespace’s cookie names, purposes and durations is available in its cookie guidance.
We do not currently use Google Analytics or Meta advertising pixels. If we introduce additional tracking tools, we will update the relevant information and obtain consent where required.

Depending on the circumstances, you have the right to:
Access your personal information and receive a copy.
Have inaccurate information corrected.
Request deletion or restriction of processing.
Receive information you provided in a portable format where the right applies.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Object to direct marketing at any time.
To exercise your rights, email satdarshan@yogalafontaine.com.
We may need to verify your identity before responding. We normally respond within one month, subject to extensions permitted by GDPR.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, particularly in the country where you live or work, or where you believe your data protection rights were infringed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, practices or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear on this page with its revision date.
